These guidelines help ensure WannaDate? remains a safe, respectful, and positive community for everyone. By using our platform, you agree to follow these guidelines. Violations may result in warnings, account suspension, or permanent ban.

18+ Only: WannaDate? is exclusively for adults 18 years of age or older. Age verification is required during account creation.

Age & Identity Verification

  • • 18+ Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to use WannaDate?. Age verification is required during signup.
  • • Accurate Information: Provide your real age, location, and personal information. Misrepresentation of age or identity is strictly prohibited.
  • • One Account Per Person: Each individual may only maintain one active account. Creating multiple accounts is not allowed.
  • • No Impersonation: Do not impersonate another person, celebrity, or entity. Use your own photos and information.

Profile Authenticity

  • • Recent Photos: Use recent photos (within the last 6 months) that accurately represent your current appearance.
  • • No Misleading Images: Avoid heavy filters, old photos, or photos that significantly alter your appearance. Photos must be of yourself.
  • • Accurate Profile Information: Your bio, interests, and profile details should be truthful and up-to-date.
  • • Clear Intentions: Be honest about what you're looking for and your expectations for dates.

Respect & Communication

  • • Treat Everyone with Respect: Be kind, courteous, and respectful in all interactions. Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior will not be tolerated.
  • • No Harassment: Do not send unwanted messages, make inappropriate comments, or engage in behavior that makes others uncomfortable.
  • • Respect Boundaries: If someone declines your request, stops responding, or blocks you, respect their decision and move on.
  • • Appropriate Language: Use respectful language. Profanity, threats, or hate speech will result in immediate action.
  • • Response Time: While there's no requirement to respond immediately, be respectful of others' time and communicate clearly about availability.

Safety Guidelines

  • • Meet in Public: Always meet in public, well-lit locations for first dates. Avoid private residences or secluded areas.
  • • Share Your Plans: Tell a trusted friend or family member where you're going, who you're meeting, and when you expect to return.
  • • Trust Your Instincts: If something feels off, leave immediately. Your safety is more important than being polite.
  • • Report Suspicious Behavior: Report any suspicious activity, threats, or safety concerns immediately using our report feature.
  • • Emergency Situations: In an emergency, call 911 immediately. Use our report feature after you are safe.

Payment Guidelines

Important:

WannaDate? charges platform fees (tokens or subscriptions) for access to features. The actual date payment (seller's price) is arranged directly between users using their preferred method (cash, Venmo, Zelle, CashApp, etc.). We do not process, receive, or handle date payments.

  • • Discuss Payment Upfront: Clearly discuss and agree on payment method, amount, and expectations before the date.
  • • Use Verified Payment Methods: Prefer cash, Venmo, Zelle, or CashApp. Avoid wire transfers or unusual payment requests.
  • • No Advance Payments: Never pay in advance for future dates. Payment should occur at or after the date, as agreed.
  • • Payment Disputes: Payment disputes are between users. WannaDate? does not mediate payment issues. Report scams or fraud through our report feature.
  • • Watch for Red Flags: Be cautious of users requesting large amounts upfront, gift cards, or unusual payment methods. Report suspicious behavior.

Cancellation & No-Show Policy

  • • Reasonable Notice: If you need to cancel, provide at least 24 hours notice when possible. Last-minute cancellations should be communicated immediately.
  • • Clear Communication: Communicate clearly about cancellations, delays, or changes. Ghosting or disappearing without notice is unacceptable.
  • • No-Show Consequences: Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations without valid reasons may result in account warnings or suspension.
  • • Emergency Situations: We understand emergencies happen. Communicate as soon as possible if an emergency prevents you from attending.

Reviews & Ratings

  • • Honest Reviews: Leave honest, constructive reviews based on your actual experience. Reviews help build trust in our community.
  • • No Retaliation: Do not leave negative reviews as retaliation for declined requests or disagreements. Reviews should reflect the actual date experience.
  • • Respectful Feedback: Provide constructive, respectful feedback. Avoid personal attacks, harassment, or inappropriate content in reviews.
  • • Review Authenticity: Only review dates you actually attended. False reviews or reviews for dates that didn't occur are prohibited.

Prohibited Content & Behavior

  • • No Explicit Content: Do not post explicit, pornographic, or sexually suggestive content in profiles, messages, or photos.
  • • No Spam: Do not send spam messages, promotional content, or unsolicited advertisements.
  • • No Scams or Fraud: Do not attempt to scam, defraud, or deceive other users. This includes fake profiles, payment scams, or misrepresentation.
  • • No Illegal Activity: Do not use the platform for any illegal activities, including prostitution, solicitation, human trafficking, or other criminal behavior.
  • • No Platform Abuse: Do not abuse platform features, create fake accounts, manipulate ratings, or engage in behavior that harms the platform or other users.

Platform Rules

  • • Token Usage: Tokens are used to access platform features (sending date requests, viewing profiles, etc.). Use tokens responsibly and according to platform rules.
  • • Premium Features: Premium subscriptions provide additional features. Do not share accounts or attempt to circumvent premium restrictions.
  • • Account Security: Keep your account secure. Do not share your password or account access with others.
  • • Email Verification: Users must have a real, verified email address to create an account. All accounts are verified during the signup process—there are no unverified accounts on the platform.

Reporting Violations

If you encounter behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it immediately:

  • • Use the Report Feature: Report violations directly from a user's profile or through our report issue page.
  • • Provide Details: Include specific details about the violation so our moderation team can take appropriate action.
  • • Emergency Situations: In emergencies, call 911 immediately. Report the incident through our platform after you are safe.
  • • False Reports: False or malicious reports waste resources and slow down real investigations. Only report genuine violations.

Consequences for Violations

Violations of these guidelines may result in the following actions:

  • • Warnings: First-time or minor violations may result in a warning and request to correct behavior.
  • • Temporary Suspension: Repeated violations or moderate offenses may result in temporary account suspension.
  • • Permanent Ban: Serious violations, scams, illegal activity, or repeated offenses may result in permanent account termination.
  • • Legal Action: In cases of illegal activity, fraud, or serious harm, we may report incidents to law enforcement and pursue legal action.

All enforcement actions are at the discretion of WannaDate? moderation team. We reserve the right to suspend or ban accounts for any behavior that violates these guidelines or harms our community.
